Attributes[]
Nakoruru is a speedy-type hit-and-run style swordfighter. Her moveset is based on either the Samurai Shodown series, The King of Fighters XIV, or The King of Fighters XV. Her attacks involve mostly her kodachi or her legs. Like Terry, she has Command Input moves and Desperation moves (which are in play when she is over 100% damage in standard battles or under 1/3 of HP in Stamina battles. She has a higher learning curve than Terry but has more potential. She has two animals, a hawk called Mamahaha and a wolf named Shikari, at her disposal for her moveset. Like Terry, Nakoruru’s Specials except Final Smash have Command Input versions, with a Command Input damage enhancement to come with it. Her Desperation moves are the same as her Super Moves in The King of Fighters XIV.

Specials[]
Input | Reference | Name | Description |
---|---|---|---|
Neutral Special | Amube Yatoro | Nakoruru points her arm outwards, commanding her hawk Mamahaha to swoop diagonally downwards. Holding down B button has Mamahaha fly a longer distance forward. Mamahaha cannot pick up items, but can deal decent knockback. Mamahaha cannot be pocketed. | |
Side Special | Annu Mutsube | Nakoruru slashes forward with her kodachi while flashing forward, boosting her forward movement a great distance. Angling up on the analog stick changes the move to Rera Mutsube, which has her boosting herself diagonally forward while attacking. | |
Up Special | Cling to Mamahaha | This is mechanically similar to Duck Hunt's Up Special. Nakoruru grabs hold of Mamahaha's talons and soars to the skies. With directional controls, she can fly in any direction she sees fit. Additionally, she can perform 3 actions: shielding to drop from Mamahaha, A button to unleash an inward slash, or B button to perform Kamui Mutsube (a diagonally downwards charge similar to Incineroar's Cross Chop). After dropping, or after 6 seconds, Nakoruru enters a helpless state. This move is rather slow and has serious startup. | |
Down Special | Kamui Rimuse | Nakoruru swings her cloak downwards. boosting herself forward a very short distance, followed by an upswing of her cloak. If B button is held down, she can swing her cloak downwards up to 3 times in a row before finishing with an upward swing. This move can also be used defensively to deflect projectiles. | |
Ground Final Smash | Kusnaotke Sikannatki Mutsube | Nakoruru performs her Climax Super Special move from The King of Fighters XV. She flies towards her opponent and kicks the opponent off. She then rushes towards the opponent with Mamahaha for a spinning thrust, and clings onto Mamahaha once she finishes and returns back to where she was. | |
Aerial Final Smash | Kanto Kamui Mutsube | Nakoruru performs Kanto Kamui Mutsube (meaning "Heavenly God Dance", her Climax Super Special move from The King of Fighters XIV. She flies onto the opponent, and delivers a vicious coup de grace in the form of skewering the opponent downwards. If offstage, it has a meteor effect. |
