Chapter Text

While netizens cover the whole screen with laughter and praises about Jiang Cheng, Wei Wuxian came in, holding three luggages, one was his, the other two were of someone else. He saw Jiang Cheng sitting on the sofa with his hand on his face, ears red as if fuming.

After learning that this man’s angry reaction was actually an embarassed reaction, Wei Wuxian got more courageous and wanted to pester him and ask what was going on.

Wei Wuxian pulled on the three luggages he brought then sat on sofa next to Jiang Cheng, before wrapping his arm around the other. “What’s this tomato doing here?” He said then laughed heartily.

Jiang Cheng pulled his hand away from his face and said in a low voice. “We’re on live.” He pointed towards the camera that was pointed towards them.

Wei Wuxian stopped laughing, and like Jiang Cheng, turned red and covered his head with Jinag Cheng’s body. “Shit, A-cheng, gege is shy.”

Jiang Cheng grabbed a pillow and smaked Wei Wuxian with it. “Who’s your gege!? Shut up!”

“Aaaaah, a-cheng is hitting his gege!!”

Jiang Cheng continued to hit him with the pillow, disregarding the camera.

[waaah, President Jiang is brutal]

[HIT ME WITH YOUR PILLOW PRESIDENT JIANG!! ]

[AAAAAAA WEI WUXIAN GEGE!!!!! ]

[People, calm down calm down….WAAAAAH THEYRE SOOO PRETTY]

[DID ANYONE SEE THEY FLUSTERED FACE WHEN THEY SAW THE CAMERA? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA]

[AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH]

Jiang Cheng stopped hitting Wei Wuxian after 30 consecutive hits and threw the pillow back on the sofa. He turned to look at the three luggages the other was bringing. “Why’d you have so many?” He pointed towards the luggages.

Wei Wuxian tried to stop laughing, wiped the tears that formed in his eyes and said. “Two of those aren’t mine.”

“Whose are they?”

Wei Wuxian grinned an evil grin, subsequently the sound of thumping footsteps echoed through the house, and a boy in white and yellow cane dashing in, plumping himself onto Jiang Cheng’s unprotected back.

Both fell prone on the ground, with the sound so loud the whole place feels like it was going to collapse.

“JIU JIU!!”

Ah shit.

“Jin Ling!” Jiang Cheng pushed himself up, bot forgetting to hold onto Jin Ling so the other doesn’t fall. “Didn’t I tell you to stay with Lan Sizhui?”

Jin Ling knitted his brows and puffed his cheeks (v cute). “I DID!!” He pointed towards the door while a boy in white shirt and long skirt, with long black hair tied in a high pony tail came walking in.

Confused, Lan Sizhui looked at Jin Ling’s pointed finger. “Did I do something wrong?”

Jiang Cheng stared at the two, helplessly. He slumped down on the sofa, Jin Ling at hand, wanting to scream but cannot.

Wei Wuxian watched the whole scene unfold, grinning like a cat (bc he’s scared of dogs).

“You can’t punish me, uncle!! I stayed with Sizhui!!”

Jiang Cheng sat Jin Ling on his lap, letting the other shake his body back and forth. He stared unmoving at his feet.

“You can’t punish me for following orders!!”

Lan Sizhui nodded towards Tang Wuyan and Wei Wuxian before waving at the camera. “Hello everyone, I’m one of the special guests. Though the director said to come out after everything else had, but young master Jin was adamant to see his uncles.” He looked at the two men arguing on the sofa and laughed. “Jin Rulan didn’t want to be punished by his uncle, so I also had to come out.”

After the explanation, he sat down and chatted with Tang Wuyan for a bit.

For a whole 5 minutes, the sound of Jin Ling and Jiang Cheng arguing was heard, Wei Wuxian would interject but was ignored, Tang Wuyan would put forth a topic to talk about, but was ignored and Lan Sizhui couldn’t even say anything because of Jiang Cheng’s death glare.

Finally, it was time for both Lan brothers to come out. The two looked like immortals coming down to earth, vibrating and radiant, like jade was cut into two pieces. They each wore a white dress shirt under a light blue coat with gold accents. Each had their hair tied on a high ponytail, and while Lan Xichen had all his hair pushed back, Lan Wangji had a some stray hair down by his forehead. They both carry one luggages, but Lan Wangji also had a duffle bag on top of his.

“Hello, everyone.” Lan Xichen said in a clam and enchanting voice. “How are we all doing?”

No one spoke in return, they were still immersed in the beauty of the pair of brothers, not knowing how to react.

Lan Wangji only nodded at them before walking towards Wei Wuxian. He held the other’s head and rubbed his cheeks. “You have evil written all over your face.”

“Wow, Lan er-gege, you said 8 words today!”

Lan Wangji smacked his face with a pillow. (If you dont think he’ll do that, then you’re wrong)

Lan Xichen sat next to Lan Sizhui, smiling as he talk to the other. Jin Ling simply glanced at the two before tackling Jiang Cheng again.

“Jiu jiu, you didn’t forget about the thing I asked for, right?”

“If you had stayed home, I probably wouldn’t have.” Jiang Cheng pushed Jin Ling’s face, still with the hint of baby fat (hes like 18 here rn). “You can’t just bend all my words to your will.”

“But Sizhui said it was okay!!” Jin Ling pointed at Lan Sizhui who was smiling as he talked to Lan Xichen.

Seeing Jin Ling point at him, Lan Sizhui looked at the two in confusion. Lan Xichen, as the person he was talking, also noticed the change and turned his head to look at the pair of uncle and nephew.

“You only said that I have to stay with Sizhui, not that I have to stay at gusu!!”

Lan Sizhui sighed. “Young master Jin, you told me that your uncle obviously wanted you to come here.”

“No! I said, jiu jiu wanted US to come here!”

Jiang Cheng flicked Jin Ling’s forehead. “I told you to stay with Lan Sizhui, not to bring him here.”

Wei Wuxian made his way into the ruckus and pinched Jin Ling’s cheeks. “Little master, your uncle just wanted to make sure you’re safe while he’s away.”

Jiang Cheng sighed, “You have a lot of projects lined up. Your manager will kill you.”

“She won’t dare!” Jin Ling looked to where the crew was, looking for his manager. “She won’t actually do it… right?” His voice suddenly quieted down.

A looming darkness spread across Jin Ling’s shoulders as two piercings eyes looked at him.

Wei Wuxian laughed loud. “Little master, with your uncle around, who dares?”

“You can’t spoil him.” Jiang Cheng interjected.

Wei wuxian raised a brow and smiled. “You’re the one spoiling him. Just look at how milky his cheeks are. Compare that with Jingyi, who looks like he went on a war.”

Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes. He went back to tending to Jin Ling who refused to acknowledge that he did something wrong.

As the party began talking to each other, a new person arrived. It was a girl wearing soft cream dress, high ponytail and silver accessories. She was pulling on a white luggage, smiling as she looked at the party. “Hello everyone, I’m Wang Meimei.” (Note: I suck at Chinese names, bear with it. I have a lot more inserts.)

Tang Wuyan finally had someone he can share his misery with. It’s been awkward having to sit with people who knew each other and are actively lovingly insulting one another. And now another person arrived who also doesn’t know these bunch. He beckons towards Wang Meimei to which the other smiled even wider, sitting next to him and chatting. (Note: v innocent gurl who saw a chubby cheeked man and went ‘cute’)

The two found something in common, mainly food, and begun discussing about their favorite meals.

Wei Wuxian, seeing someone talk about food, introduced himself as a culinary expert.

Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes and looked away. Jin Ling felt shivers run down his spine. lan Sizhui smiled awkwardly and stifled a laugh. Lan Wangji refused to acknowledge anything. While Lan Xichen was the only one to speak.

“Mister Wei has an interesting pallet, I’d love it if everyone can have a meal you serve.”

Ah it seemed that a bang suddenly erupted in the room as 4 people fell off their seats.

Not knowing what happened, Tang Wuyan was excited to taste Wei Wuxian’s meals, while Wang MeiMei was ready to eat any time.

Two people arrived at the same time again, they were a couple of husband and wife. Known in the industry as the mandarin ducks of the culinary world, they carry themselves like kings and queens… that is to say, they are kind and generous, strong but not aggressive, soft but will not back down. Everyone wanted what they have.

“Hello everyone! Lets get this show on the road!” The man shouted. “There’s so much we can do in this show!! We can eat all kind of cuisine!!”

Very excited.. was the collective thought of the group.

“Ah! This old man!” The woman shook her head and walked towards the group. “Hello everyone, I’m Im Huang Fuhua, and this is my husband, Xuan Ziyuan. Nice to meet all of you.”

(Note: merry crisis)
